Schneider Electric has been picked by IBM India to supply electrical distribution, high density cooling and power solutions for a data center build for Indian telecoms firm Bharti Airtel.
The firm will use APC's Galaxy range of UPSs, InRow RC Cooling Solution for high density racks alongside its electrical distribution and energy management solutions and TAC's building automation, security and safety systems.
"IBM's choice confirms Schneider Electric's leading position as a one-stop energy management solution provider for Data Centers, said Olivier Blum, Managing Director, Schneider Electric India.
Schneider Electric must complete data center and hand over to IBM by March 2009.
