NTT Data USA has signalled its intent to withdraw from the US data centre sector following the announcement that QualityTech has signed a definitive agreement to purchase 100 percent of the interest in this wholly-owned subsidiary of NTT Data International LLC (NDU).
“We are excited about the growth of our business with the addition of an exceptional location in a key growth area said Chad Williams, CEO of QualityTech.
“The addition of NDU, establishes QualityTech as a primary provider of high quality data center facilities and managed services in the New York area added Mark Waddington, President of QualityTech. “We will immediately begin a project to enhance the power, cooling and services provided from this site which indicates our commitment to this location.
The 136,500ft┬▓ Jersey City data centre has its own UPS system, emergency power generators, security service, monitoring system, communications system and on-site fuel storage for its emergency power generators.
