Real Time Data Services (RTDS) Group's AceCloud has launched a cloud region in Noida, India.
Launched in partnership with NetApp and Quantum, the cloud region will be hosted in a Tier IV data center in Noida, and will provide low latency access to "advanced cloud technologies."
The data center has not been named, though Uptime Institute does not list any Noida-based data centers as being Tier IV certified.
According to AceCloud, its region will offer specialized hardware for AI and HPC workloads including cloud GPUs and high IOPS-based storage. The offering is available starting in this quarter of 2024. The offering starts at $0.03 per GPU per hour for compute and object storage at $7 per terabyte per month.
RTDS has IT infrastructure in more than 10 data centers globally. The Noida region is its second cloud region in the Asia Pacific, and 13th worldwide.
