BT has signed a contract with the Royal Dutch Pharmaceutical Society (KNMP), an association for all pharmacists in The Netherlands. More than 90 percent of all Dutch pharmacists are member of the KNMP. Under the terms of the 5-year agreement, KNMP outsources its entire mission critical ICT-infrastructure to BT.

The contract encompasses, amongst other services, secure hosting of KNMP's office automation and shared storage environment, migration to Microsoft Exchange and telehousing of all of KNMP's mission-critical applications in BT's Nieuwegein datacentre. BT will also handle remote and on-site desktop management, managed IP telephony and business continuity consultancy services.
