UK-based manufacturer of UPS systems Riello UPS has launched a new series of online power protection systems. The new Premium Pro systems range from 700VA to 3kVA and are designed to protect IT, telecom, point-of-sale systems and other critical applications.

 

Robin Koffler, Riello UPS general manager, said the product’s energy saving capabilities reduce total cost of ownership for critical IT applications. "Premium Pro is part of our new Eco line product range and demonstrates our continued commitment to the European Code of Conduct and manufacturing energy efficient UPS." 

 

The new product operates at 98-percent efficiency in full online mode and saves 10 percent more energy than its predecessor. It monitors circuits and battery chargers and can be configured to automatically power off in absence of load. 

 

It features a built-in front mimic panel and LCD, which provide operating status and alarm information, as well as interface card slots, USZB and serial ports for remote monitoring and network connection. 

 

Starting at £400, the systems are available in 700VA, 1,000VA, 1,500VA and 3,000VA versions.
