Pan European trading platform Equiduct has moved its matching engines into Inerxion's City of London data center.
Equiduct CEO Peter Randall said the move will allow retail traders using Equiduct to connect with other traders that are part of Interxions financial service community.
"Interxion's pan-European footprint of data centers will allow us to get even closer to our pan-European retail community," Randall said.
Unlike other retail trading companies that rely on domestic exchanges, Equiduct uses International exchanges with low latency to offer customers faster access to trades.
Interxion has 28 data centers in Europe with connections to 350 carriers and ISPs and 18 European Internet exchanges.
The New York Stock Exchange uses Interexion's City of London data center for its Secure Financial Transaction Infrastructure which offers low latency connections to its own data centers in New York Jersey and Essex, UK.
