IS Group, a cloud service provider based in the Netherlands, has launched IS HyperGrid Enterprise Cloud services out of the Amsterdam data centers operated by TelecityGroup. The service is a direct connection to IS Group's Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) platform.
IS HyperGrid is meant for customers who want to build hybrid cloud environments. The direct connection reduces network costs, increases bandwidth throughput and enables a more consistent network experience than public0Internet-based connections, IS said in a statement.
Alexandra Schless, managing director for TelecityGroup in the Netherlands, said, “TelecityGroup data centers enable seamless partnerships between enterprise, cloud and connectivity providers. We are delighted to see the number of services exchanged between our customers within our highly connected digital ecosystems increase with the introduction of IS Hypergrid.”
The service is available to for customers in any of TelecityGroup’s five data centres in and around Amsterdam.
Customers with equipment located in their own offices or data centers can also access the service by using IS' end-to-end CrossNet connectivity solution. This solution is supported by a number of Dutch telecom networks and offers global coverage.
