On November 12, Perimeter Technology will break ground on a 22,000 square foot, multi-million dollar commercial data center in Oaklahoma City, adjacent its current data center and corporate headquarters.
The company purchased the 22 acre site for a reported $1.4 million and plans to develop it over the next five to 10 years, chief executive officer John Parsons said.
Perimeter operates a 16,000-square-foot data center in Oaklahoma and offers 37,000 square feet of space at a Tulsa location that also includes disaster recovery office space.
Phase 1 of the new center will offer 14,602 square-feet of air conditioned, raised floor computer space to house computer servers for a growing list of clients. The Phase 1 facility is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2008.
