Peak 10 is building a second data center in Jacksonville to meet current and future demand for infrastructure hosting and high-end managed services. The new data center will share the same location as Peak 10's existing facility and meet the company's high standards for security and redundancy. All Peak 10 data centers are engineered with multiple levels of security, uninterruptible power, redundant HVAC systems, fire suppression and around-the-clock monitoring and management. Each facility is also interconnected by Peak 10's private network enabling the company to meet its high availability objective and ensure business continuity for its customers' business critical applications.
"The building of our second Jacksonville data center is a great example of Peak 10's local market leadership and unprecedented growth, and further reflects our philosophy and history of investing in the cities we serve to enhance our capabilities with next generation infrastructure, said David Jones, president and chief executive officer of Peak 10. "With our recent acquisition in Nashville and facility expansions or second data centers in four of our existing markets since 2005, Peak 10 is aggressively responding to customer growth and the increased demand for outsourced IT services in all of our markets. Consistent with our growth strategy, we will continue to aggressively pursue expansion opportunities organically and through acquisitions nationwide.
