Quantum processing unit startup Pasqal plans to build a 'Quantum Computing Center of Excellence' packed with Nvidia hardware.

The company is part of Nvidia's 'inception program,' where the GPU giant offers free help to startups, by giving them access to Nvidia technology and experts. It will deploy 10 Nvidia DGX systems with Nvidia InfiniBand networking at the site in France.

Pasqal also plans to use the Nvidia cuQuantum software development kit to optimize its development operations. cuQuantum consists of libraries and tools designed to accelerate quantum computing workflows. Pasqal said that it will use cuQuantum to accelerate quantum circuit simulations based on state vector and tensor network methods "by orders of magnitude."

Pasqal’s Quantum Computing Center of Excellence, featuring Nvidia DGX systems, will enable the simulation of tens of atomic qubits in 2D and 3D arrays to develop tools that will foster the development of industrial applications and can help advance scientific discovery.”
