Panasonic Marketing Middle East (PMM), the regional headquarters of consumer electronics major Matsushita Electric Industrial Co., Ltd. (MEI) in the Middle East & Africa, has announced the relocation of its mission critical IT infrastructure to eHosting DataFort at Dubai Internet City. Under an AED 5 million agreement, PMM will migrate its business critical IT infrastructure to eHosting DataFort who will provide them with a fully outsourced operation and managed service.
PMM's data center in eHosting DataFort will be connected to MEI's headquarters in Japan as well as to its regional offices across the Middle East & Africa. PMM's IT environment consists of a Solaris-based mySAP ERP and various other Windows based business systems.
PMM will be taking advantage of eHosting DataFort's unique managed services including 24 x 7 pro-active monitoring & management of the infrastructure and active network components, comprehensive Managed Security Services and regular backup & restore services backed by a guaranteed Service Level Agreement offering very high levels of availability.
