Nvidia plans to raise $25 billion through a US bond issuance.
The company initially looked to raise $20bn, but increased the issuance amid significant demand. Reuters reports that investor demand for the bond sale hit $85bn.
The bond consists of seven tranches of notes, maturing as late as 2056.
The last time Nvidia accessed the investment-grade bond market was back in June 2021, when it raised $5bn.
Nvidia said that it aims to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, including the repayment and refinancing of outstanding notes. Reuters reports that the company aimed to establish a liquid benchmark for its cost of credit.
The company had $13.24bn in cash and cash equivalents as of the quarter ended April 2026.
