Nvidia is planning to invest $2 billion in AI cloud provider Nebius.
The investment is part of a partnership between the two companies to "develop and deploy the next generation of hyperscale cloud for the AI market."
Nebius and Nvidia have long been partners, with Nebius deploying Nvidia's chips across its data center footprint. The AI cloud aims to deploy more than 5GW of capacity by the end of 2030.
Nasdaq-listed Nebius was spun out from Yandex in 2024, offering access to GPUs across its presence in the US, the Middle East, and Europe.
This year so far, Nebius has revealed plans for a 240MW data center in France, and two in the US: one in Alabama, the other in Missouri.
Nvidia has said it will support Nebius's early adoption of the latest generation of its "accelerated computing platform."
The two will collaborate on AI factory design and support, creating an inference and agentic AI stack, and deploying multiple generations of Nvidia hardware across Nebius's platform, including the Rubin GPUs, Vera CPUs, and Nvidia BlueField Storage system.
“AI is at another inflection point — agentic AI, driving incredible compute demand and accelerating infrastructure buildout, ” said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of Nvidia. “Nebius is building an AI cloud designed for the agentic era, fully integrated from silicon to software and powered by Nvidia's next-generation accelerated compute. Together, we are scaling the cloud to meet the surging global demand for intelligence.”
“Nebius has been built for AI since day one — not adapted from a general-purpose cloud, but designed for what developers actually need, ” said Arkady Volozh, CEO of Nebius. “Now with Nvidia, we are extending that throughout the stack — from gigawatt-scale AI factories to inference and software — as we build one of the first and largest clouds for all AI builders everywhere.”
Nvidia frequently invests in its customers. Earlier this month, the chip designer took part in Nscale's $2bn Series C funding round, and in January 2026, injected $2bn into CoreWeave following a September 2025 agreement between the two that would see Nvidia purchasing unsold compute capacity from CoreWeave for $6.3bn. Nvidia also has a $1.5bn lease-back deal for its GPUs with Lambda.
