OrthoSynetics, a Los-Angeles based provider of business services to healthcare professionals has announced it has opened its new data center and colocation facility in Dallas, Texas, as part of the company's efforts to strengthen its infrastructure to better serve its customers.
This state-of-the-art facility will allow the company to continue operations on a day-to-day basis in case of emergency or natural disaster.
With headquarters in the New Orleans area, the company is well-aware of the dangers and challenges that hurricanes and tropical storms pose. The new data center will ensure that the company's and customers' data is safe in case of an emergency, that customers' operations are not disrupted if a storm or other natural disaster strikes, and that its team has an alternate base of operations in case of such an emergency.
The new facility, will ensure redundancies for all of OrthoSynetics' information technology functions, to ensure seamless operations in the even the corporate headquarters' operations are disrupted.
According to Tim Tiffin, chief information officer, if the corporate headquarters goes down for any period of time, the new data center ensures IT functions are back up-and-running within a millionth of a second.
