EYP Mission Critical Facilities (EYP MCF), has, announced the addition of a dedicated C4ISR Group, led by Robert G. Arno, to its Washington, D.C. team. The addition of a C4ISR team at EYP MCF creates a unique bridge between data center operability and government command and control center operability to assure continuity of operations (COOP). EYP MCF's proven leadership in the private sector and years of experience working with federal and state agencies, national laboratories, fusion centers, and secure government facilities sparked the creation of this team of experts to protect the US government's most important critical space and national security information.
The term C4ISR is an acronym for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance and refers to the facility, technology, operations and people who manage the protection umbrella of US national security, through a netcentric approach to today's asymmetric warfare threat.
The EYP MCF role in C4ISR is to assure the operational continuity of these government command centers so military, intelligence, and first responder operations can run without fear of downtime in a resilient environment. The EYP MCF role in national security is increasing and vital in a number of projects across the nation. Current mission critical government projects include work for National Security Agency (NSA), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Department of State, NOAA Satellite Communications Facility, the Navy Marine Corps Internet, Maui County Fusion Center, Hawaii Regional Security Operations Center, the DHS's Transportation Security Agency's Enterprise Operations Center, The Congressional Backup Facility, and The FBI's Technical Support and Training Center.
"Preparedness is not an option; it is critical to national security in the post 9/11 world. Minutes or even seconds of downtime in one of these C4ISR facilities can result in life threatening situations or catastrophic world events. Having Robert and his team join our already experienced Government Group elevates EYP Mission Critical Facilities services to continue to secure operational continuity for our government clients at a time when disaster recovery (DR) and Continuity of Operations (COOP) is more prescient than ever, Steve Einhorn, Chairman, EYP Mission Critical Facilities.
