UK data center designer and integrator, Latitude UK, has opened a fully-operational, energy efficient data center showroom at its Swindon offices.
The new facility offers the company the opportunity to demonstrate and exhibit current best-practice models and explore the potential of existing technologies to help improve energy efficiencies.
The concept facility includes eco-friendly hot swappable power and cooling hardware architecture from APC and server virtualization software from VMWare.
In addition to employing the latest technology for intelligent data centers, the company is partnering with Equiclimate, a UK government approved offsetting provider to help clients reduce their carbon footprint.
