The contract sees NetBenefit open a new data center facility boasting green credentials, including 100% renewable energy.
The new center includes 22 amps per rack, provides the option of access to the new Gbit network and cold aisle containment should cut 30% on energy used for air conditioning and 10% on energy used by servers.
Jonathan Robinson, chief operating officer, NetBenefit, comments: "This new data centre has given us the opportunity to design our services from the ground up. Lumison and NetBenefit have developed an excellent partnership during the development of this new managed hosting site. The state of the art facility allows customers with business critical websites to buy managed hosting services with green credentials without having to compromise on the reliable and flexible managed hosting services that are the cornerstone of NetBenefit's service."
