Imtech N.V. a European technical services provider has announced that it has received orders worth more than 85 million euro for total technological solutions for the overhaul and/or expansion of computer and data centers of financial institutions in Germany.
The economic situation in Germany is picking up after a number of years of stagnation and negative economic conditions. Growth in exports first led to improvement in the investment climate in industry, and now the market for buildings is clearly improving. Imtech Deutschland is one of the strongest players in the German market for technology in buildings. One of its services focuses on the technological infrastructure in computer and data centers. The growing intensity of digital payment traffic and the strongly increased bandwidth of information flows are prompting financial institutions and financial data centers to invest in overhauling and/or expanding their existing computing capacity and ICT infrastructure.
Imtech provides a reliable power supply, innovative cabling, preventative fire safety, no-break facilities and professional disaster plans. Because of the increased capacity of these centers, heat production is approaching critical limits of as much as 1,400 W/m
