The Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs will house its data storage in KPN's new 'green' CyberCenters.
The Ministry's goal is to achieve 30 percent more energy savings through the use of new refrigeration systems. The innovative system leads outdoors along a rotating cold air wheel' which cools the re-circulating air throughout the datacenter.
The data, servers and office of the ministry have been offered a place in a shielded area in the KPN CyberCenter in Haarlem.
