A 45-acre corporate campus in Broomfield, Colorado, is up for auction just outside of Denver.
As listed by Newmark via Loopnet, the Lumen-owned site has been up for sale for almost a year and is currently priced at $6.5 million.
Located at 1025 Eldorado Blvd, the site features four buildings, including a data center, totaling 791,700 sq ft on a 45-acre plot. The sale also comes with a 9.45-acre undeveloped parcel for expansion potential.
The properties, built between 1999 and 2000, will be delivered nearly vacant, but the data center has been pre-leased through 2025.
In a statement to DCD, Lumen said: "Over the past few years, we’ve learned new ways to work, to interact with, and to serve our customers. This process caused us to take a step back and look at the locations from which our employees work. After careful consideration, we decided to sell our Broomfield campus. All employees now work from home or from one of two different locations in downtown Denver."
The company did not provide specifications for the Broomfield data center. The auction is expected to begin on February 24, 2025.
Denver is currently home to Iron Mountain, Flexential, EdgeConneX, DataBank, CoreSite, Equinix, Centersquare, Cogent, and Verizon. Lumen has two other sites in Denver.
