LogMeIn, Inc., creator of the world's most widely used remote connectivity and support services, has announced that it has added a European data center to support the company's explosive growth. LogMeIn currently has nearly 20 million users - adding more than 1.5 million each month.
"What started three years ago as a small remote access service has grown into a global platform for IT connectivity that provides everything from remote computer support to individual digital lifestyle capabilities," said Marton Anka, founder and CTO of LogMeIn, Inc. "This new high-availability data center ensures that all customers will continue to enjoy the seamless service that has made LogMeIn the fastest-growing and most popular remote access platform on the planet."
The new LogMeIn site, located in the TelecityRedbus London Docklands data center, will enable LogMeIn to support more of the fast, secure and reliable connections to which its users have grown accustomed. The UK location will provide a full front-end presence to ensure a consistent, high quality experience for European and western Asia customers.
TelecityRedbus Group is a leading independent provider of colocation, managed data center, hosting and connectivity services in Europe. TelecityRedbus joins LogMeIn's other network operations centers in Massachusetts (Level3) and Silicon Valley (Equinix).
