Professional services giant KPMG is bringing together its financial processing, analytics and reporting tools in the Oracle Cloud, under the banner of ‘KPMG Powered Finance’.
“Far too often we hear stories about fast-growing firms being constrained by their finance capability or because the software they bought into during their embryonic years is no longer able to support their needs,” said Patrick Fenton, head of financial management at KPMG.
“By teaming up with Oracle we are demonstrating our commitment to technology-driven change, with the crucial recognition that cloud-based tools and programs give organizations the freedom they need to adapt and grow.”

The aim of ‘KPMG Powered Finance’ is to provide some of the company’s largest customers with flexible access to financial and tax tools and services. The cloud-based software suite has been designed to increase the speed with which organizations can transform their finance functions.
By collecting data and storing it in the Oracle Cloud, the platform will also enable KPMG’s customers to measure their performance and benchmark it against high performing businesses within their own sector and across vertical markets.
“In today’s dynamic business environment, customers need to leverage digital technologies such as cloud and business analytics to continuously add value and innovate, helping transform their businesses to stay ahead of the competition,” said Mark Newton, VP of Sales for UK Applications at Oracle.
