RiT Technologies, a Tel Aviv-based provider of management tools for data centers and telecom rooms, has upgraded its data center infrastructure management (DCIM) product called CenterMind.

On top of its previously existing space, connectivity and security management chops, CenterMind now has comprehensive power utilization management capabilities, enhanced reporting and a better dashboard, RiT said earlier this week.

Vadim Leiderman, the company’s CEO, said this was an “out-of-the-box” data center management solution.

“As the industry's most experienced IIM [intelligent infrastructure management] company with complex deployments in thousands of data centers throughout the world, we believe that we are uniquely qualified to introduce a new level of innovation, control, efficiency, agility and security to the mission-critical data center, and are very excited to roll out our advanced offerings,” he said.

The solution is modular, meaning you can mix and match different functionality modules, based on what you need. Modules include planning and simulation, provisioning, dynamic reporting, power and environmental, resource allocation, work-order management, Active-I, asset management and PatchView (RiT’s) IIM hardware.

Each module feeds data into CenterMind’s central management and reporting center, where software creates action items based on analysis of incoming data.
