According to a local press report, Google may imminently arrive at the MidAmerica Industrial Park (MAIP).
The local paper, Pryor's Daily News, reports that MAIP Administrator Sanders Mitchell still cannot release the identify of the company which purchased the 800 acres south of Gatorade. Mitchell cannot confirm nor deny that Google is the company which will locate on the recently purchased property.
Pryor Mayor Jimmy Tramel said until somebody makes an official announcement, every piece of information is speculation.
MAIP's Web site states the industrial park can save a company between 20 to 70 percent on utilities, which may be one reason for Google's interest in the area.
Meanwhile, LVB.net has reported that the search engine gaint is investing over 250 million euros in a new 85 hectare data center in Baudour near Mons, Belgium.
The site is apparently located near a water source, ideal for cooling and a fibre network is already present.
