Ireland-based energy efficient building product and green construction company Kingspan Group is consolidating 50 computer centers worldwide into two large data centers in Dublin in 36 months.

The company, which turned over Ôé¼865mn in the first three quarters of last year, has grown significantly in coming years, rolling out products to new markets. Its consolidation project, named 'Project Obama', has been designed to reduce costs and simplify the company's IT moving forward.

As part of the Project Obama, Kingspan has already performance tested its WAN, Internet, mobile and cloud-based networks for a server migration from the UK to Ireland.

The throttle test performed using Shunra application performance technologies, was designed to test movement of the SAP servers would not harm performance.
