European data center services provider Interxion has filed documents with the US Securities and Exchange Commission for a possible initial public offering of shares to be traded on a public stock exchange.
The company expects to complete the offering in the second half of 2010, according to a news release.
As its SEC registration statement was filed in confidentiality, it was not disclosed which exchange the company planned to have its shares traded on.
Interxion said it had not, as of Monday, determined how many shares it was planning to offer and how much it was looking to raise as a result of the IPO.
The Netherlands-based company has more than 25 data centers in 13 cities around Europe.
It has recently announced a private offering of securities, worth total of ├óÔÇÜ┬¼200 million.
Interxion has made several expansion announcements over the past few months, including opening of a second data center in Dublin in April and start of a 12,000 square foot expansion of an Amsterdam facility in March.
