Interxion now has low latency connections to to BATS Europe, the European Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) from its City of London site.
The data center operator said Interxion participants located at its City of London data centre can access BATS Europe's system with latency averages of 350 microseconds, including matching engine latency of 250 microseconds and circuit latency of 100 microseconds.
BATS Europe, which launched in October 2008 has market share of 8-10% in the FTSE 100, 7% of the SMI, and 5-6% across the 15 European markets in which it operates.
