Intec completed the consolidation of its Americas data centers and outsourcing operations at its regional headquarters in Atlanta.

The move shifted the firm's outsourcing and service bureau operations formerly located in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania; Toronto, Canada; and Dallas, Texas into one location.

The Atlanta center is now Intec's second largest office globally, is fully SAS 70 compliant, and is operationally staffed round the clock every day of the year.

Intec has been providing retail billing services from the Atlanta facility for the last two years, including hosting and managing its Singl.eView suite for a major service provider, as well as business process outsourcing (BPO) services. The BPO operations were moved from the company's Pennsylvania facility as part of the consolidation initiative.

Intec handles billing for firms such as AT&T, Antel, Cable & Wireless, The Carphone Warehouse (UK), China Unicom, Deutsche Telekom, Eircom (Ireland), France Telecom, Hutchison 3G, O2, Orange, T-Mobile, Telefonica, Vodafone, Virgin Mobile, Vivo and Verizon.
