Infrastructure investment platform InfraTech is set to invest around $2.7 billion in a large-scale data center campus spanning more than 5,000 acres in Carson County, Texas, near Amarillo.

The investment will be structured alongside a consortium of leading institutional investors, with a major hyperscaler expected to serve as an anchor tenant. The counterparty, anchor tenant, and co-investors remain undisclosed prior to completion.

As part of the investment, InfraTech will also fund expanded fiber optic cable manufacturing capacity, including new production lines with a major global manufacturing partner, to support the fiber requirements of the data center platform and other large-scale digital infrastructure projects.

“This initiative reflects the scale and conviction InfraTech Capital brings to digital infrastructure,” said Luiz Fuschini, president & CEO of InfraTech Capital. “A campus of this scale represents exactly the kind of long-term infrastructure our platform is built to support, while our parallel investment in fiber optic production ensures the network layer keeps pace. We are proud to help build the backbone the digital economy will depend on for years to come.”
