Commercial real estate services firm CB Richard Ellis, which does a large amount of work in the data center industry, said it has entered into an agreement to buy a majority of real estate investment management business ING Group NV for US$940m in cash.
The deal covers all of ING's operations in Europe and Asia and ING's US-based global real estate securities business Clarion Real Estate Securities.
ING Group NV will continue to run as an independent business.
Hurleypalmerflatt sells minority stake of business
Engineering consultancy Hurleypalmerflatt has sold a minority stake of its business to ISIS Equity Partners for £14m.
Hurleypalmerflatt group chairman Paul Flatt said the deal will help the company grow, and provide additional equity for investment.
"We already have excellent coverage across our core sectors of mission critical engineering and energy and sustainability consultancy;the investment will help us grow the business in line with our strategy of entering new geographic territories and expanding our service offer," Flatt said.
