C7 Data Centers has added Level 3 Communications to its portfolio of Tier-1 carriers.

The fiber-based communications provider will help the colocation data center provider offer better routes and greater diversity at a lower costs to customers, the Utah-based company said.

Eastern European colocation player CE Colo is working with PLIX, the Polish internet Exchange to allow peering between carriers and ISPs.

PLIX will now connect users of Piekna 24 data center in Warsaw, Poland, to other exchange customers using more than 200 active ports covering 1GbE and 10GbE.

The CE Colo Piekna 24 data center has 600 sq m of furnished space. It has other data centers in cities in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Romania.

Fidessa group said it is offering its Fidessa Canada trading platform in Equinix's Toronto TR1 International Business Exchange. 

It adds to Fidessa's footprint in Equinix's London and Singapore operations and provides customers with direct access to the Toronto Stock Exchange for the trading of equity options, futures, derivatives, equities and bonds.
