Air New Zealand picked IBM as its data center services supplier and signed a 10 year deal with them. 

After a tender process IBM won out and will deliver services from its $80m Tier 3 Tier 3 Highbrook Business Park in East Tamaki. 

The National Business Review reported Air New Zealand chief financial officer Rob McDonald saying that the problems with IBM were all water under the bridge. 

In 2009 Air New Zealand CEO Rob Fyfe sent an email lambasting IBM for its service levels after an outage affected 10,000 passengers. 

"The relationship is very healthy and a lot of work since 2009 has gone in by both parties to make sure that didn't happen again," said McDonald.

The latest deal comes on the back of another deal extension announced in October 2010.
