HP launched a measurement and analytics product for controlled environments.

Based on the use of wireless sensors and graphical visualisation, HP Datacenter Environmental Edge allows data center managers to track temperature, humidity, power consumption and air pressure in real time, as well as to compile data collected during a period of up to 180 days to assess long-term trends.

The system is "vendor agnostic," according to HP, meaning it can be deployed in any data center. While providing detailed real-time information on a data center's environmental conditions, the system does not control its cooling infrastructure.
