EYP, the datacenter builder bought by HP earlier this year has declared the Philippines as a key growth market.
Kfir Godrich the firm's chief technology officer has said that the Philippines has huge potential for mission critical datacenter building for internet, telecoms and financial services firms.
The company is in initial talks with a number of potential Philippine customers about future proofing existing datacenters and building new facilities.
"Changing datacenter requirements are also because of the changing client needs. These companies have to ensure a high standard of customer service, especially as more people turn to the Internet not just to check their email but also for business transactions. A well-designed datacenter can ensure that drastic changes are met while operation remains smooth," Godrich told Philippine-based www.inquirer.net.
Until now EYP's Asia operations have focused emerging market growth in India and mature markets such as Japan.
