The increasing demand for high-end collocation space in China has led to Hogan International Data Centre Limited, a local-based data center service provider, to build a world-class data center in Shanghai.
The 50,000 square foot Hogan data center is located in a four-storey building in the Technical Park in JingQiao District of PuDong, Shanghai, 15km away from any high risk area. The whole building is purposely-designed and built to meet the most stringent industry requirement of Tier IV with the option available for customers requiring Tier III standards. The data center is ISO 27001 compliant, ensuring the highest security level. Unlike other collocation centers, it is a carrier neutral collocation complex with eight telecom carriers and service providers providing connectivity for customers' choice. Fiber from major providers are delivered to the data center via two separate Point of Entry (POE) located on opposite sides of the building.
Newtech Technology Company Limited, a market leader in data center infrastructure in Asia, was commissioned by Hogan to design and build the state-of-art data center, providing consulting services from site selection, dealing with local Government bodies and utilities to testing and commissioning in handover stage. he first phase of the project was completed in April 2007.
