Located along Am Kronberger Hang, work is due to start on the 7,000 sqm (75,347 sq ft) facility this month, with commissioning planned for September 2027.

"The demand for sovereign AI applications is growing exponentially. With our modular architecture, we are creating the infrastructure for the requirements of tomorrow,” said Florian Sippel, COO Noris Network.

Data Center Group has been selected as the project’s general contractor.

Schwalbach am Taunus is a town in the Main-Taunus-Kreis district in Hesse, Germany. Maincubes has a facility close to Noris’ planned development.

Noris was founded in 1993 and claims to be the first Internet service provider in northern Bavaria. The company offers various cloud, colocation, networks, security, and managed application services. According to Noris Network's website, the company has six data centers at five sites across Germany, located in Nuremberg (x2), Munich, Hof, and Ingolstadt.
