General Dynamics Information Technology, a business unit of General Dynamics has been awarded a follow-on contract to provide information technology (IT) support to the US Army Reserve Command (USARC). The total potential value of the contract if all options are exercised is $79 million over three years.

General Dynamics will continue to provide IT support for the enterprise datacenter, which includes operations and maintenance, consolidation and enterprise desk top management to 55,000 users at 900 sites. The enterprise datacenter is the infrastructure on which USARC operates to deliver network centric operations. The General Dynamics-led team includes Dell, Booz-Allen Hamilton, BAE Systems, CA, EMC Corporation, Perot Systems, SRA International, TEKsystems, Digicon and CorTechs.
