French broadcast infrastructure firm TDF has added 300 sqm (3,229 sq ft) of server room space to its data center near Aix-Marseille, bringing the site’s capacity to nearly 1,000 sqm (10,764 sq ft).

A second expansion is scheduled for completion by 2027.

The data center has 178 bays, 10 rooms, and access to 900kVA of power, according to the data center’s website.

The data center was opened in 2014 and is located at 6505 route de la tour d’Arbois, between the cities of Marseille and Aix-en-Provence.

TDF (Télédiffusion de France) was founded in 1975 after the breakup of state broadcaster ORTF and provides radio and television transmission services.

It operates data centers in Lille, Paris, Rennes, Lyon, Bordeaux, Toulouse, Marseille, and Papeete, the capital of French Polynesia.
