Colocation and cloud-based infrastructure services provider FiberCloud has launched a new set of offerings tailored specifically for Drupal developers. Its new server solutions include cloud and physical servers with pre-installed operating systems and custom configurations for Drupal.

The move is part of the company’s push to increase its focus on hardware services for Drupal and other open-source communities. Other open-source communities the company supports include Wordpress and Joomla development.

FiberCloud is aiming to provide core infrastructure that meets the developers’ needs.

Susan DeFlorio, FiberCloud COO, said the Drupal community was evolving quickly and needed simple custom IT support.

“We put our infrastructure to work for them with the sole purpose of making life easier,” she said. “We want them to get what they need to get off the ground and do what they do best, without even thinking about the hardware.”

The Drupal solutions are provisioned in FiberCloud’s five data centers interconnected with a fully-meshed MPLS network for high availability.
