euNetworks, owner and operator of Europe's highest capacity fiber network and provider of mission critical communication infrastructure and services, has announced it has signed a five-year agreement with True, one of the Netherlands' largest Internet solutions companies, for the provision of secure colocation infrastructure in Amsterdam.
The terms of the five-year lease contract include the rental of almost 700m┬▓ of secure datacenter space and an option to extend the lease period to ten years. True has also taken an option, for a limited period, over an adjacent datacenter suite and took the decision to make this investment in response to the burgeoning demand for their services in the Dutch market.
"True specialises in the delivery of high availability Internet & Hosting solutions serving in excess of 2,000 clients. These clients rely heavily on our ability to provide highly secure environments for their system requirements and expect us to react quickly to their shifting demands - in terms of power, space and changing communication protocols, said Vincent Houwert, CEO, True.
"True required the utmost security and reliability for datacenter infrastructure. True also needed to be able to scale and deploy customised solutions in accordance with their clients' requirements said Noel Meaney, Chief Executive Officer, euNetworks. "euNetworks' unique ownership of the infrastructure permits us to deliver services bespoke to True's needs all supported with one of the highest service level agreements in the industry.
