Emtec, Inc., an information technology systems and services company, has announced Clement Pappas, an industry leader in producing the finest fruit juices, fruit drinks and cranberry sauces, selected Emtec to manage the design and build-out of its new datacenter and office relocation. The new datacenter, which tripled the size of its predecessor, was constructed in six months to support Clement Pappas' rapid growth and provide support for its five facilities around the country.
As project manager, Emtec was responsible for overseeing all aspects necessary for the design and construction of the new datacenter. Emtec selected the top vendors in various industries from engineering and cabling to HVAC and electric, orchestrated third-party contractors and leveraged seasoned IT professionals for the technical infrastructure to support business operations. Emtec focused on aligning resources to match Clement Pappas' needs, making sure they could produce a datacenter that would allow for future growth and support electrical engineering, redundancy and fire suppression requirements.

In addition to managing the datacenter build-out, Emtec worked closely with Clement Pappas and all of the vendors to ensure that there was minimal downtime for the company and that no disruptions took place during business hours for the entire project. With the new triple-sized datacenter and built-in power redundancies, Clement Pappas is able to conduct business flawlessly, even during power outages.
