Emerson Network Power today announced the availability of the Liebert GXT4 product range across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This online, double conversion rack-tower UPS was designed to provide power protection and maximum availability to support mission-critical applications at the edge of IT networks, and for small to medium businesses (SMEs) across a range of industries such as financial services, healthcare, retail and distribution hubs.

The GXT4 range is the successor to the Liebert GXT3 product family and offers 700 VA to 10 kVA models at 230 V. The rack-tower configuration and design of its UPS systems, Emerson claims, enables easier and faster installation and deployment, while allowing businesses to respond quickly to changing requirements. The Energy Star qualified unit delivers resilient power protection, ensuring that a critical load is always supported by a continuous flow of high-quality power. The unit also has an Eco mode which Emerson says can maximize the units’ energy efficiency levels.

Tilo Kaschubek, director of the IT Channel for Emerson Network Power in EMEA said: “The Liebert GXT4 range is a natural evolution of our bestselling product family, the Liebert GXT3. The new model is able to deliver an unbeatable level of efficient and customizable power protection to support the growing needs of small-to-medium-sized businesses, ensuring that critical applications are always up and running.”

All 700 VA – 3000 VA units include two pairs of individually configurable power socket systems. These allow IT managers to program and control various settings, including load shedding, which prioritises the most critical applications to provide tailored load protection. The power socket systems can be set up to protect against any unauthorized use.

The Liebert GXT4 units are also equipped with a new user-friendly, multi-language LCD interface for easy access to data. These complement the oversight and management offered by Emerson Network Power’s monitoring software, including a remote diagnostic and preventative monitoring service.

Users may benefit from a variety of monitoring and configuration tools to allow preventive maintenance and manage operational performance. Kcaschubek continued: “Additionally, channel partners are able to deploy and install the units with ease thanks to the smart packaging design and lifting straps. This product, coupled with the wide array of tools and expert support offered by our Innovation Partnership Program (IPP), ensures that all our partners can offer customers a best-in-class UPS solution matched with a wider spectrum of technologies to address any IT protection requirements.”
