According to reports in the Irish press, US company Digital Realty Trust has received planning permission to develop a two storey data center in Clonshaugh, Dublin 17.
It acquired the property on which the new building will be developed, along with an existing data center, from Hibernia Atlantic.
An article in the Sunday Business Post says that Dublin City Council approved the development subject to nine conditions, one of which is that no microwave antennae can be erected on the site without a further granting of planning permission.
