Digital Realty Trust has named Matthew Miszewski its senior vice president of sales. Miszewski will oversee Digital Realty's sales and leasing efforts in the Americas.

He joins Digital Realty from Salesforce.com, where he was SVP, Enterprise Sales and Global Public Sector.  At Salesforce.com, he was responsible for establishing a new enterprise sales program focused on global and strategic accounts. 

In addition, he reformed Salesforce.com’s Global Public Sector business unit to focus on industry-relevant solution selling for the government sector.  Before joining Salesforce.com, Miszewski was with Microsoft as general manager, Worldwide Government.

Previous executive positions held by Miszewski include CIO for the State of Wisconsin and president of an IT consulting firm. Early in his career, He was a partner at a law firm after earning a juris doctorate degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
