When you virtualize infrastructure, storage should be as flexible as the rest of your IT, says Tintri
Storage systems in virtualized shops should be aware of the virtualization so that applications can be supported better, according to Ian Campbell.
“We are the storage industry’s only provider of VM-aware storage,” said Ian Cambell, system engineer at Tintri, at the DCD Zettastructure event in London. TintriOS, now on version 4, has been part of Tintri’s product since in 2011, and new features were added at the London event. It now handles synchronous replication, which helps customers with mission critical resources.
