“We can help companies minimize their impact while making massive cost reductions”
Andy Long tells us why Hydro66 took the decision to build a 100 percent hydroelectric powered-colocation facility in Sweden.
Normally environmental efforts cost more money, but Long says the facility allows companies to reduce their impact while achieving massive cost savings, thanks to the cold temperatures and the abundant hydroelectric power available in the Nordic regions.
Hydro66 currently has a 4MW, 1000 sq m facility, with options to expand. Fiber networks mean we can now take the data to the power, rather than the other way around, says Long.
