According to a news brief on PE Week, Rohati Systems, an early-stage data center start-up, has secured US$11 million in Series B funding from venture capitalists Matrix Partners and Foundation Capital. However, on Rohati's company website, it claims it has received Series A funding from the two companies.
The website does not disclose much detail, but says the Rohati team has extensive data center experience and has delivered multiple highly-successful products. It states it is developing an innovative next-generation data center product to address emerging challenges in the enterprise.
According to Matrix Partners, the company is based in Menlo Park, California, but the US Securities and Exchange Commission lists its address as O'Toole Way, San Jose, California.
