Built in 1984, the property is described as a 16,800 sq ft (1,560 sqm) flex/data center campus, featuring single-story buildings on a 1.2-acre parcel.

The 7,200 sq ft (668 sqm) 2991 Gold building is a purpose-built data center fully leased to a multinational telecommunications company through to the end of December 2031. The facility has reportedly been occupied continuously for almost three decades.

The 9,600 sq ft (891 sqm) 2999 Gold Canal Drive can be made available at the close of escrow, subject to negotiated transition timing. The building includes raised-floor environments, technical workspace, open office, and warehouse/service areas. It is described as “ideal for technology, engineering, R&D, or data-intensive users seeking a move-in-ready facility with significant electrical, cooling, and connectivity upgrades.”

Colocation firm Datacate Inc. currently offers services out of the 2999 Gold site, according to its website and online listings. Founded in 2008, the company says the Rancho Cordova facility totals 18,000 sq ft (1,670 sqm), with 5,000 sq ft (465 sqm) of raised floor and 1.4MW of capacity (expandable to 2.8MW).
