IT and network services provider CoreXchange has launched a new data center in Dallas, Texas. First phase of the facility provides 20,000 square feet of data center floor and the facility will house a total of 100,000 square feet at full build-out.

The new data center is not likely to experience a shortage of clients in the Dallas market, where demand for data center space outpaces supply two-fold. The launch comes on the same day as CyrusOne, the largest colocation data center provider in Texas, announced commissioning of its new data center in Houston.

CoreXchange will use the facility to provide colocation, managed services, as network connectivity services. The new data center, called CoreXchange Connection, is located at 8600 Harry Hines Blvd.

This is the company's second data center. Its other facility is housed in Dallas's Infomart facility that houses many network carriers' infrastructure.

"Offering the highest performing network and service customization, we'll continue to deliver the best customer solution for the best possible price," Julia Morgan, a CoreXchange sales executive, said in a statement. "And with more data center capacity and a growing list of network backbone partners, we'll have even greater opportunity to create satisfied customers."
