Data center developer Colovore is planning a new facility in the Dallas-Fort Worth area of Texas.

Colovore has filed an application with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) for Colovore Alliance, a single-story data center in Fort Worth.

Located on vacant land at 14700 Heritage Parkway in Denton County, the facility will total 156,500 sq ft (14,540 sqm). Construction on the $430 million project is set to run from December 2026 to December 2028.

The landowner is listed as AIL Investment LP, a likely affiliate of Hillwood Properties.

On its website, the company details plans for two facilities in Dallas. The 44.8MW DFW01 is set to be located in Mesquite, while the 32MW DFW02 will be located in Fort Worth.

Launched in 2013, Colovore carved out an early niche for liquid-cooled racks capable of up to 35kW – considered high density at the time. The company launched its original single-story, 24,000 sq ft (2,230 sqm) facility in Santa Clara in 2014. A second facility opened nearby in 2024.

The company was acquired by investment firm King Street in 2024 and subsequently announced plans to expand into Nevada and Illinois.

Colovore is also planning to develop a data center in the Hutto area of Austin, Texas.

Further projects are reportedly planned around Virginia, Texas, New Jersey, Illinois, Georgia, California, and Washington.
